A former office building has been sold to Lindmere Limited for residential conversion under permitted development rights.
The property in London Road, Croydon, had been given prior approval for conversion into seven one bedroom flats.
The 2,733 sq ft double-fronted Victorian property is situated next to Croydon University Hospital.
Richard Plant, head of Stiles Harold Williams South London, said: “There is still a tranche of outdated offices which can be repurposed for housing. We have the ability to get this done despite (Croydon Council’s) 2015 Article 4 Direction requiring planning consent.”
