Former 1960s office block Impact House is being converted into Innova, Inspired Homes’ flagship development in Croydon.
Featuring 235 apartments, the £90million scheme is the largest of Inspired’s permitted development schemes.
A radical transformation is seeing the building stripped back to the core and reskinned with a con-temporary residential facade.
Inspired chief executive Martin Skinner said: “Innova is Inspired’s flagship development designed around today’s urban lifestyle.
“It will incorporate the latest tech, high quality finishes, a residents’ lounge, ninth-floor sky terrace and a concierge service.
“Innova offers beautiful homes for the next generation and will stand proud as a beacon for micro-living.”
Innova will feature 197 one and two-bedroom micro-apartments and 38 larger one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Hallway-free, open-plan interiors are designed to make the most of every inch of space.
The developers pledge the latest in technology with high-spec features including engineered hardwood flooring, granite kitchen worktops and Bosch appliances. With prices starting at £304,950 for a one-bedroom micro-apartment, over 100 homes have already been reserved.
Work started to convert the 16-storey building after Inspired Asset Management secured development finance. A total of £61.1m was secured through a £44m senior loan from GreenOak, with £17.1m in mezzanine finance from a vehicle advised by EG Real Estate Advisors.
