Croydon’s £1.4billion Westfield scheme in focus at Shard summit

Westfield and Hammerson’s £1.4billion redevelopment of the Whitgift Shopping Centre will be among the topics discussed at a conference entitled London’s New Frontiers in the New Year.

Peter Miller, chief operating officer of Westfield, is among the main speakers at the event which takes place in The Shard on Wednesday, January 18.

Hosted by Bisnow, the event is being billed as highlighting emerging neighbourhoods and investment opportunities across town.

Post-Brexit and in light of competition from other global cities, it will ask whether London will continue to reign supreme in 2017 and transform into a truly global 24-hour city.

It will also discuss, with drastically increasing prices, the neighbourhoods that investors should pay close attention to.

There is a capacity cap of 220. To purchase tickets visit https://www.bisnow.com/events/london/Londons-New-Frontiers-2017-668?utm_source=MorningBrief&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20161207_london_morningbrief&be=jpayne%40wlcreative.org.uk
